Why not send money with PayPal directly?

A payment receipt is only part of the deal. Batonic keeps your agreement and delivery together, with time to inspect eligible purchases before seller payout.

“Just PayPal me” leaves the most important question unanswered

Will you actually receive what was promised? Sending the money is the easy part. If the files are wrong, the item is damaged, or the seller stops replying, a payment receipt alone does not resolve the deal. Batonic puts an inspection stage between delivery and eligible seller payout.

Why paying directly can leave you chasing the problem

A PayPal payment receipt does not establish which source files, accessories, or revisions the seller owes you. If the deal goes wrong, you may have to reconstruct the agreement and pursue a claim. Batonic brings those details into the purchase and gives eligible buyers an inspection stage before seller payout.

Put the deal in Batonic before sending money

A Baton is the seller's listing for your purchase: what you are buying, the price, a preview where applicable, and how it will be delivered. You are buying an agreed package, not relying on a payment note and a promise in chat.

Buying a code project? Put the included source files, supported runtime, setup instructions, and license in the Baton. Review a preview before checkout. After delivery, check the package against those promises while the applicable inspection window is open. Support can review the purchase and delivery context together.

Check delivery before the seller is paid

Batonic gives eligible purchases up to 48 hours after qualifying delivery to check that you received what was promised. Your order shows the applicable deadline. You pay at checkout; seller payout waits for the inspection process.

Open an eligible dispute during the active inspection window, before accepting delivery or waiving inspection, and Batonic pauses the disputed seller payout while the issue is reviewed. The seller has not received those held proceeds. That is a better place to start resolving a problem than asking someone to send back money they already received.

Batonic reviews the listing, your selected package, delivery records, and your evidence. We reach out to both parties to understand the problem and work toward a solution. Refunds depend on the facts and transaction terms; the hold gives that review time to happen before the affected payout is released.

Ask for a Baton before you pay

Send the seller this message:

Please send me a Baton with exactly what is included, the total price, and delivery terms. I want to check the purchase before seller payout.

  1. Review the seller's Baton, preview, and selected package.
  2. Check the total fees and inspection deadline before checkout.
  3. Inspect delivery promptly. If it does not match the agreement, open a dispute before your window ends.

Selling? Create a Baton and give your buyer a clear reason to feel comfortable paying. You can share a private Baton for a deal that starts elsewhere.

Make the agreement clear. Give yourself time to check it. Ask for a Baton.

Batonic’s inspection applies to eligible purchases made through Batonic and cannot recover a payment made elsewhere. Batonic is independent of the payment services mentioned here.
