Is this payment real? Check before sending your item
A buyer's screenshot is not proof of payment. Use a Baton and verify the real order in your account before shipping or sharing files.
A payment screenshot is not your payment record
The buyer says they paid and wants you to send the files or ship now. You deserve to know the order is real before you hand anything over. Create a Baton and check the purchase inside your own Batonic account instead of relying on a screenshot or a forwarded email.
Why payment messages can mislead you
An image can be edited. An email can impersonate a payment service. A request to pay an “upgrade” or “release” fee is a reason to stop and verify independently. Open your account yourself and check the actual order status. Do not send goods because the other person says money is on the way.
Bring the agreement and delivery together
Put the exact contents, price, and fulfillment terms in a Baton, then share its published link. When the buyer checks out, use the order’s actual payment and fulfillment status to decide the next step. A pending order is not a confirmed payment, and a confirmed payment is not the same as a completed seller payout.
Check delivery before the seller is paid
Batonic gives eligible purchases up to 48 hours after qualifying delivery to check that you received what was promised. Your order shows the applicable deadline. You pay at checkout; seller payout waits for the inspection process.
Open an eligible dispute during the active inspection window, before accepting delivery or waiving inspection, and Batonic pauses the disputed seller payout while the issue is reviewed. The seller has not received those held proceeds. That is a better place to start resolving a problem than asking someone to send back money they already received.
Batonic reviews the listing, your selected package, delivery records, and your evidence. We reach out to both parties to understand the problem and work toward a solution. Refunds depend on the facts and transaction terms; the hold gives that review time to happen before the affected payout is released.
Give your buyer a real checkout
- Create a Baton with the agreed contents and delivery terms.
- Share the published link and verify the order inside your account.
- Follow the order's fulfillment instructions and keep delivery evidence.
Your buyer gets a clear purchase and an inspection process; you get an order record instead of a screenshot. See how Batonic works.
Keep the protection attached to the purchase
The inspection window applies to eligible Batonic purchases, under the deadline shown in the order. Batonic cannot recover a payment made elsewhere. Read Why Batonic? and the inspection guide.
