What is an inspection period?
Overview
The inspection period gives the buyer time to confirm that they received the items inside the baton and that the baton fulfills the agreement between the buyer and seller.
Timeline
The inspection period lasts for 48 hours after purchase. During this time, the buyer can review delivered files, links, notes, and any physical fulfillment status before the seller payout is released.
Why It Exists
This window gives buyers time to dispute the transaction without starting a lengthy payment dispute or chargeback process. It is meant to solve problems quickly inside Batonic first.
Waiving Inspection
Buyers can waive the inspection period at any time. Waiving inspection tells Batonic that the buyer is satisfied and triggers the payout for the seller immediately.
When Something Is Wrong
If something is wrong, file a dispute before the 48-hour inspection period ends. Include the baton ID, the issue, and any evidence that helps support review the order.
